Esther Gatón (b.1988) lives and works in Madrid. Recent shows include Patio Herreriano Museum, Vallodadid (2026), Affiliate WIELS, Brussels (2025) and Partial Versions, Cambridge (2025).
The show consists of multiple bilingual text-based works which visitors are encouraged to take away with them. This reflects the artist’s longstanding interest in the written word, and its relationship to storytelling as a relational practice. The show features a wall based installation of a text by Gatón and Rafael Barber Cortrell, originally written to accompany Gatón’s exhibition ‘You, you, you, my incessant’ at the Patio Herreriano Museum, Valladolid.
